Message from Superintendent Cybulla
Dear East China Families,
As we embark on the second semester of the school year, I want to take this opportunity to express my gratitude for the support, collaboration, and trust you continue to place in our schools. The beginning of a new semester brings with it an exciting opportunity for renewal—a chance to pause, reflect on the progress we’ve made, and set our sights on the future. It’s a time for us all to renew our shared commitment to providing the highest quality education and ensuring the success and support of every student.
The ECSD teachers and staff work tirelessly to create a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where students can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Check out the pictures below to see some of the great things that are happening in our schools. I am incredibly proud of the strides our students have made during the first half of the year, and I am confident that, together, we will continue to build upon that success.
One of the most important aspects of our community’s success is the strong partnership between families and our schools. Your active involvement plays an essential role in your child’s growth, and I wholeheartedly encourage you to stay engaged through ongoing updates and school events. By working hand-in-hand, we can ensure that the second semester is a time of continued growth and achievement for all our students. Thank you for being an integral part of the East China Schools community.
I look forward to all the great things we will accomplish together in the months ahead!

What's Happening In Our School...
Early Childhood Center
Building Bright Futures at East China Early Childhood Center
From infants to preschool, the East China Early Childhood Center (ECC) is shaping the foundation of tomorrow right here in our community. At ECC, our dedicated, compassionate, and collaborative staff are committed to nurturing the growth and development of every child, creating a safe and supportive environment where young learners can thrive.
Every day at ECC is filled with engaging activities designed to spark curiosity and foster creativity. Inside the classrooms, children participate in hands-on learning experiences and exciting projects that make education fun. Building-wide celebrations bring joy and a sense of community to everyone involved, while outdoor activities encourage exploration and physical development.
Whether it’s creating masterpieces with art supplies, exploring nature in our outdoor spaces, or celebrating milestones together, ECC is a place where young children and their families are supported, celebrated, and prepared for the next steps in their educational journey.
We are proud to be a part of shaping the bright futures of the children in our community!
