Medication Pick-Up From Health Office
If your student has medication in the School Health Office, it must be picked
up by Friday, May 24, 2024, the last day of school. Students will not be able to
transport any medications, but you’re welcome to pick up medication from
the health office any time before the last day of school. Any medication or
spacers not picked up from school will be discarded.
Medication is usually transported from home to school and back by adults,
and students are not permitted to self-carry or self-administer medications.
This is to prevent any misuse of medication with children. Thank you for
your understanding regarding this matter.
It is important to note that new medication authorization forms must be
completed by your provider for the upcoming 2024-25 school year, which
begins Aug. 8, 2024. All medications must be submitted in the original
bottle/package and clearly labeled. All medical forms and medication must
be submitted to the nurse. Please direct any questions or concerns to the
health office at 402-408-8652 or email gille.sarah@westside66.net.
