Please join CVUSD's BreakThrough Student Assistance Program and The Conejo Schools Foundation for a workshop on Online Safety presented by Greg Webb, Ventura County District Attorney Investigator; Terry Dobrosky, Ventura County District Attorney Investigator; Kim Holeman, FBI Agent; and Kori Davis, Simi Valley Detective, on Tuesday, February 18th, from 6:00 to 7:30 PM at University Center, 2801 Atlas Avenue, Thousand Oaks 91360.
Workshop Description
Online safety is crucial in today's digital world, where kids and teens face risks like cyberbullying, scams, and harmful content. A serious issue is sextortion, where someone uses threats to get explicit material or money. Parents can help by keeping communication open, teaching safe online habits, and using privacy settings and parental controls. Together, families can create a safer internet experience for their children.
