Titan Times: Week 39

Titan Families,

We made it to our last week in our 2023-2024 school year! Again, it's time to start soaking in those "last moments" of the school year. It is also time to make sure you have checked out our "Lost and Found" area. This will be emptied on the last day of school.

If you know of a family who might not be too on top of looking at campus or teacher communication or campus social media and website updates, please support them as you can. We'd hate for anyone to miss out!

Celebrations from the Week:

• We enjoyed an action packed Neon Day planned by our Principal for the Day and Assistant Principal for the Day! Check out the pictures below!
• Student Led Showcases were completed last week, and they were a special moment for us to witness and celebrate. To see that it came to life this year thanks to our staff and students' efforts is absolutely amazing. If you were unable to attend to see your child's conference, I encourage you to have them celebrate their learning at home with you and your family. That being said, Thank you for attending our recent student-led showcases. Your presence and support mean a lot to our students and educators! To improve and provide the best experience for our students and their families, we kindly request that you take a few minutes to complete a feedback form about your experience with the showcase. Your insights and suggestions are invaluable to us and will help us enhance future events. We appreciate your time and input. • End of Year (EOY) Screener Data is going home this week according to the information for each grade level below:
• Kinder- Wednesday Folder 5/22
• 1st- During Student-Led Showcases on 5/16 & 5/17
• 2nd- Wednesday Folder 5/22
• 3rd- Wednesday Folder 5/22
• 4th- Wednesday Folder 5/22
• 5th- During Student-Led Showcases on 5/16
• Report Cards- Please note that your student`s report cards will be available in Home Access Centre as of 5/24/24 Please be sure to view/ print it before July.
• 5th Grade Parents- If you foresee needing a paper copy for sport/ activities for next year, please be sure to print it while it`s available. After July, it could take up to 2 weeks to obtain a copy.
• Campus wide end of year parties are this week. Be sure to read your Titan(s)'s teacher newsletter via email.
• With events comes opportunities for carpooling to the campus to support our parking woes. Please consider sharing a ride as you make your way to campus if you can.

• In an effort to enhance security, safety of our students and staff and to improve the efficiency of our routes, for the 2024–2025 school year, all eligible bus riders – new and returning – will be required to register for transportation if they wish to utilize transportation to and/or from school. To guarantee transportation on the first day of the 2024–2025 school year, bus registration for general education riders must be received by Friday, June 14. Registrations received after this date will be processed as soon as possible in the order in which they were received. Hello Titans!

I wanted to say thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for such an amazing year. I have loved growing close to your kiddos- they carry so much light with them wherever they go. I have made the decision to return to my previous nursing role in Postpartum at St. David's North Austin, but I plan to be around River Place Elementary as much as possible for years to come. Thank you for all of the kindness and support you have shown me- what an awesome community to have fallen into.
