Trauma Responsive Practices

Utilization in the Classroom Setting

Please join the Allegheny Intermediate Unit's Training and Consultation Team for this hybrid training series.

This series is designed for classroom practitioners to gain a deeper understanding on the prevalence and impact of trauma in the classroom as well as the greater school community. The series will focus on specific trauma responsive classroom practices that can be embedded within daily classroom routines.

Participant Information

Target Audience: General education teachers, special education teachers, paraeducators, school counselors, building principals, other building level administrators

Act 48 Hours:

7 (seven) Act 48 hours available upon completion of series.
Participants are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to attend all sessions in series.
Partial Act 48 will be offered.

Cost: There is no cost to attend this training series.

Registration Priority: Educators who work for LEAs in the AIU3 region will have priority registration.
