From Principal Wilken

Dear Parents,

Welcome Back!

I hope everyone had a restful and rejuvenating spring break. As we return to our routines, I want to remind everyone about the important events happening this month.

State Testing Announcement

This week marks the beginning of state testing for our 5th grade students in science. The science test is a three-part assessment, and it is crucial for each student to be on time every day to ensure they can complete all sections without any issues. Please encourage your child to get plenty of rest and come prepared to do their best!

Additionally, the remaining state tests for other grades will begin on April 1st. We appreciate your support in helping your children excel during this testing period.

Thank you for your continued partnership in your child's education. Let's make this March a successful month!

Warm regards,

Principal Wilken

SchoolStore Fundraiser SchoolStore Fundraiser

Tully is participating in a new and easy fundraiser. It's called SchoolStore Funds for Schools. A form was sent home with kids this week to fill out and return. Students will get their first prize when they return the signed form. It is a simple online school fundraising program helping school raise money when you shop at specific stores. Check out their video!https://www.schoolstore.com/info/demo.html

Happy Spring Equinox to all our Tully students, families, and staff! The first day of spring is a time when there is nearly an equal amount of daylight and darkness here on earth. In many cultures, the spring equinox is celebrated as a time of renewal and rebirth, often associated with festivals and traditions that focus on nature's growth and rejuvenation.

Here at Tully, the students have been busy planting in our vegetable garden – some of the crops include okra, squash, tomatoes, beans, and sunflowers. As the kindergarteners and first graders learn about the parts of a plant and its lifecycle, they get to experience firsthand as they plant seeds, water them, and observe as they germinate, pop up through the soil, and reach their leaves toward the sun.
