Dear Farnham Families,
We are thrilled to welcome our Falcons back on campus today! Our staff has been working tirelessly to ensure that everything is in place to support both learning and play. I want to take a moment to recognize our incredible custodial team, Mr. Ulises and Mr. Jamie. They have gone above and beyond, breaking down countless cardboard boxes, moving and adjusting furniture, and doing whatever was needed to prepare our school. Their dedication has been essential in creating spaces where teachers feel confident and ready to welcome your children.
Thank you for your continued patience as we work around the construction happening at the front of our school. We are fortunate to have such a supportive community dedicated to making our schools safe and beautiful. I will keep you updated on any construction developments as they arise.
I look forward to seeing you all at our Back to School Family Gathering at Houge Park on Friday from 5:00-7:00 PM.

If your plans have changed and your child will NO longer attend school at Farnham, please contact the school office as soon as possible.
If your child is absent on the first day of school, he or she will be dropped unless you contact the school office. If your child is dropped for any reason, you will need to re-enroll your child with the Cambrian School District.
Consistent school attendance is a key to success for your child. Ensuring your child is on time and in attendance is very important. Arriving on time gives your children the chance to smoothly transition and settle in, setting a positive tone for the rest of the school day. Thank you for making your child's attendance a priority to support their learning.
Gates open at 8:05 am and close at 8:15 am when the instructional day begins. Students must be present in their classroom before the 8:15 am (tardy) bell rings.
Any absence must be reported to the 24 hour absence line. Please report an absence as soon as you know your child will not be at school. The 24 hour absence phone number is; 408-377-3321 Ext 4102.
Please make sure that your voicemail is free and set up. School staff will call parents with important and timely information about their child, most often about injury or illness. Please be sure that we are able to contact you during school hours. If your contact number changes at any time, please make sure to let the school office know.
Be prepared for the 2024-2025 school year and be sure to update any health & medical concerns for your child. Please be sure to complete a new Allergy, Asthma or Seizure Care Plan form, if applicable, for the 2024-2025 school year. All Medication Authorization forms need to be updated as well.

As we begin the 2024-2025 school year, we would like to extend a warm welcome to both returning and new Farnham community members. We look forward to getting to know as many of you as possible throughout the year, and plan to continue supporting the school and community through exciting events.

Friday, August 16 from 5-7pm: Join us at Hogue Park to kick-off the new school year right with a back-to-school BBQ which will feature food and a magician!
Tuesday, August 20 from 6-7pm: Join us for a meet-and-greet with the HSC board as well as our first budget proposal meeting. We will have pizza and babysitting and look forward to showcasing what lies in store for the school year ahead.
Back to School Spirit Wear Sale - t-shirts, sweatshirts, long sleeve shirts, caps, and more! In-person sales before school on Thurs 8/15 and Fri 8/16 or purchase on-line. Purchases made through the Farnham HSC website will be delivered to your student’s classroom. Purchases made through the 3rd party vendor, ApparelNow, will be mailed to you.
