General Information
- Veterans Day is November 11, so check out a book from our Veterans Day display, and say thanks to a Veteran. The library will also host the reception for Veterans before the district wide assembly.
- Be on the lookout for our Thanksgiving/Gratitude tree starting November 14 in the library. Stop by and fill out leaves about what you are thankful for!

October Library Highlights
- We started the month with our rescheduled Star Wars Trivia event, and the students that attended had a great time.
- We had thirty high school students attend our Halloween bingo and mask making event during their lunches!
- Ms. Bennin taught research lessons to English IV classes, and Notice and Note Fiction lessons to English II classes. She also worked with Mr. Williams on a book project for Psychology.

This fantasy novel features Adya, who is a technomancer - able to bring dead technology to life through magic. As she and her family fight forces trying to reestablish the British Empire in India, can she rescue her sister as well?
Only for the Holidays by Abiola Bello
Tia’s boyfriend asks for space, and Quincy’s girlfriend cheats on him. When Quincy has to go to the annual Winter ball, he and Tia agree to fake date - and things get complicated quickly. Fans of holiday romances should check this out.
Civic Minded by Jeff Fleischer
A nonfiction book that contains a wide variety of chapters on various issues related to the US Government. If you have ever had questions about how funding works, or how the various branches of the government works, this is a great read.
