Mrs. Lake's Weekly Update
March 24, 2024
Dear All Saints Families,
Starting today with Palm Sunday, the Catholic Church has officially entered into Holy Week. As a result, the school has done it's best to minimize meetings and sports/extra curricular practices this week. Students in the 8th grade have been working for months in order to bring you Mary's Way of the Cross on Good Friday. They, as well as Mrs. Rehmeyer, would like to extend a personal invitation to each and every one of you to attend this Living Stations of the Cross at 12:00 pm on Friday, March 29 at Saint John's Church. In order to allow everyone time to get to the church, we will dismiss Saint Mary's Campus starting at 11:15 am and Saint John's Campus starting at 11:30 am. An intercampus bus will still run for those who need it. However, due to it being a significant religious holiday, there is no extended day care being offered. Good Friday is a day to pause and reflect on God's amazing grace. If you are not able to join us at Saint John's Church, I would encourage you to attend one of the three other Good Friday Liturgy's being offered across the Parish as outlined below.

RICE BOWLS
It is time to return the rice bowls you received at the beginning of Lent. You can send them into the school with your child anytime in the next week or drop them off at one of the parishes. Thank you to all who participated in this almsgiving activity.
The Hannaford helps program is back again for another year. The program allows shoppers to earn 3 School Dollars for every 4 participating products purchased. This year at checkout, customers will receive a School Dollar printout they can use to donate to any school enrolled in this program.
To redeem School Dollars towards All Saints Catholic School, all shoppers need to do is enter the unique printout code and store number on the Hannaford Helps Schools program website and select their school. If instead you chose to drop your receipt in the place provided by Hannaford, the total School Dollars collected will be evenly distributed among all participating schools in the area.
Just a reminder that the Attic is open for donations from 10am - 12 noon every Wednesday and Saturday should you have items you no longer need.
Thank you for your support of our thrift store!
