General Reminders

Please look at our Supplies list if you wish to donate supplies to your child’s teacher. Students need their own school supplies this year!
Please check your child’s backpack every morning as no toys or Pokemon cards should be brought to school, nor should candy or unhealthy snacks

📖 Book Blast Summary 📚

Thank you or all your efforts with Book Blast. This was one of our most successful events, and I'm so happy that all of our students are going to go home with a book in just a few weeks. Here is a breakdown of each site!

Breed: Collected $1245 in donations. 149 books are going to be delivered to the school site. 24% of the students participated.

2nd St: Collected $839 in donations. 172 books are going to be delivered to the school site. 19.5% of the students participated.

Eastman: Collected $2219 in donations. 222 books will be delivered to the school site. 26% of students participated.

That's a total of $4,303 received and a total of 543 books coming to Extera!

Congratulations to Mr. Moreno for being the only teacher to reach 60% class participation. He is going to receive a $100 shopping spree!

I hope you all had a positive experience with Book Blast. We look forward to doing this again next year and getting more books in the hands of our students.

Volunteers Needed!

We are looking for volunteers to support at schools in the following areas:

Morning Drop Off, Recess to host a coloring table with students or Lunch Recess to play a game like loteria with students, or Recruitment.

Please contact Melissa if you would like to know if support is needed, prior to going to campus!

All Volunteers must be approved by principal prior to coming on campus

🎒 Middle School News 🏫

At the end of each month, students get to earn a field day to celebrate their hard work and positive choices. Here are some pictures from the activities that teachers brought to students this month!

Teachers vs After School Basketball Team

March Reading Challenge

This month, Middle School is having a reading challenge. The mentor block class with the highest amount of minutes read, will win a free meal from Cane's. But we can't make it that easy...Students will have to compete against teachers and their minutes read! Next month we will announce who won!

Test Prep

Our SBAC prep classes are off and running at Middle School. These students are signed up for a 0 period or 7th period, to get some extra help from teachers.

We are currently enrolling for Middle School! If you would like to make sure your child is on the list to transfer over and enroll in our Middle School program, please call Melissa! If you know a family that would want to join our Middle School, have them call the office for more information and set up a tour!

Uniforms are required every day unless specified by the Principal. You can find the uniform information attached.

Middle School Uniforms

Uniforms are required every day unless specified by the Principal. Mondays are dress down days where students can wear jeans and a colored top to represent their house.
