Directions to Run eStar Reports from eSped
This is the report of all SpEd students.
-Admin ARD Reports
-eStar STAAR Assessment
In filters, set your school, record status- ACTIVE, SpEd status-currently served and grade level if you choose.
Click CREATE REPORT, you will have to refresh, and then VIEW.
This will give you all of your SpEd students, their STAAR test, and the accommodations.
Use the triangle in all ARD, 504, LPAC and RtI decision making meetings.

-Click on the Show It All report for your campus. (you can clone and edit if you need to see specific grades, or kids, etc.)

Testing will occur in all 4th and 5th grade rooms, as well as the following:

Lunch time adjustment:
Fourth grade will go to lunch at 11:30.
First grade will go to lunch at 12:15.
Please remember, the whole building is in STAAR mode, and will need to be kept quiet, including lunch times, until ALL students have finished. (We will advise if it needs to be a silent lunch, or just a quieter lunchJ) Since all of our paras who normally have lunch duty are involved in testing, please make sure to cover your grade level for duty. Please make sure students are away from the building for recess in the back. We also ask that there be no visitors to the building for the next two days.
Wright Elementary STAAR Checklist / Procedures
- Prior to test day, review TA manual and SET UP TESTING ROOM (cover instructional displays, working clock, move desks, set up table of allowable materials). Pose any questions you have to Trish, Jen, or Joy
- On test day, check roll using paper attendance and give to whoever delivers testing materials
- Small group administrators will need to pick up their materials from Testing Central (room 109) beginning between 8:15-8:30, pick up students from their classrooms, and then go to your assigned testing location
- Check test materials when delivered: verify student list, number of tests and answer documents, identification number on each test and answer document AND initial materials control form
- Gather cell phones, electronic devices, turn off school phone. Turn in cell phones to Trish, Jen or Joy.
- Gather Student Library Books and put in one location for after testing.
- Post “Do Not Disturb” sign and Monitoring Log on the outside of the testing room door
- Allow students to pick up optional materials (whisper phones, noise reducing headphones, scratch paper, colored overlays, colored pencils, high liters, note cards/index cards, post its) Do not pass them out.
- Distribute materials (pencils, test document, answer document)
- Read test directions exactly as they are written in the test administrator handbook
- Complete Seating Chart and record the testing start time.
- Actively monitor students testing by walking around the room. Remind students “Remember that you must record your responses on the answer document. Be sure to erase any stray marks that you might have accidentally made on your answer document.”
- Communicate orally and in writing the amount of time left to test in ONE HOUR INTERVALS until the last hour. During last hour give notice at 45 min, 30, and 15 min. left.
- If students complete test before 4 hours, look over answer document to check for incomplete work or stray marks.
- At lunch, gather all materials (have students place their answer document inside their test booklet). Record Lunch Start Time on Seating Chart. Wait for Jen or Joy to come to your room to check in materials. Small group administrators go to 109 to check in at lunch.
- All test administrators will be eating with their class in the cafeteria. Please ensure students are not talking about the test while they eat.
- AFTER LUNCH - Large groups take restroom break and then Jen or Joy will deliver test materials. Small group administrators pick up materials from room 109
- Record Lunch Stop Time on Seating Chart.
- Record test end time on seating chart as students finish.
- Gather and account for all testing materials (booklets, answer documents, pencils, scratch paper). PLEASE PUT ANSWER DOCUMENTS IN ALPHABETICAL ORDER AND BOOKLETS IN NUMBER ORDER.
- Return all materials to Jen, Joy or Trish in 109. Hall monitor may stay with your class while you turn in your materials.
