Bonillas Community Update
March 28th 2025
Message from the Principal
Dear Bonillas Families,
Our school year is certainly flying by! 🚀 Over the next several weeks, our 3rd, 4th, and 5th-grade students will begin their state assessments. 📝 These assessments help measure each student's progress and growth throughout the year.
As we enter the testing season, it is essential that students arrive at school on time each day. ⏰ Here are a few ways you can support your child at home:
✅ Ensure they eat a healthy breakfast each morning. 🥞🍎
✅ Make sure they get plenty of sleep. 😴 At least 8 hours is recommended for younger students.
✅ Keep them home if they are sick. 🤒
✅ Encourage them with positive words and reassurance. 🎉💪
📢 Important Reminder: On testing days, students cannot leave school early. If a student is picked up before completing their assessment, they will not be able to restart the test the following day.
We will send daily reminders 📩 to keep you informed about which assessments are taking place.
We will kick off each testing day with an exciting assembly for students! Thank you for your support in helping our students do their best! 🌟
Sincerely,
Frankie Schiavone
Principal, Bonillas Traditional Elementary Magnet School
