Welcome Linda Stepp
Linda Stepp has recently been appointed to join the Southern Ohio Educational Service Center Governing Board, bringing her with a wealth of experience and a passion for education. Linda is married and has one adult daughter who lives in Boston. Linda enjoys reading as her #1 hobby. She also enjoys NCAA March Madness, antique shopping, fishing, gardening, and bonding with her granddaughter.
Linda is a retired educator who believes that education is much more demanding now, but also more tailored to students' needs rather than one size fits all. She currently serves on the Adams Brown Community Action Board, the Adams County Public Library Board, and the Adams County Community Foundation Board. She is the Secretary/Treasurer of the Jefferson High School Alumni Association and is proud of how the members, though small in number, have given numerous $1000 scholarships each year since 2002!
With a background in education and a commitment to serving the community, Linda is poised to make a positive impact on the board. Linda has worked as an educator for over 30 years. Linda joined the Southern Ohio ESC team in 2007 after her then-recent career with Adams County Ohio Valley Schools. Linda was appointed to her board position in January 2024 after being impressed by the range and quality of services provided by SOESC.
Linda Stepp will represent Adams County Sub-District 9 as a new board member.
