MESABI EAST INVITE RESULTS
The Mounds View Nordic Ski Team raced in the Mesabi East Invite at Giants Ridge against nearly 900 skiers on Saturday. The Girl’s Varsity placed 12th out of 49 teams and JV was 6th. The Boy's Varsity was 9th of 52 teams and JV was 15th. Mounds View had 3 racers on the podium to receive medals. Linnea Ousdigian beat 130 skiers to take 1st in the varsity skate race. This was the first time a MV girl won Mesabi. Maddie Dornfeld finished 6th of 62 in the JV Classic. Owen Kalmes finished 9th of 121 skiers in the varsity classic race. Congratulations to the entire Mounds View Team!

ACT STRATEGY SESSIONS FOR JUNIORS: The strategy session today is for Reading with Mrs. Carney. Meet in Room #122 right after school.
ALPINE SKI: The Alpine ski team kicks off their competitive season on Tuesday (1/9) at Wild Mountain. Race starts at 5:00 PM. Go Mustangs!
ROBOTICS TEAM: Our new Challenge has been released, and we have 11 weeks to design, test & build our new Robot to play the game! Regular meetings will be:
- Tuesday (1/8) from 6:30-9:30 PM
- Thursday (1/10) from 6:30-9:30 PM
- Saturday (1/12) from 9:00-3:00 PM
STARTUP CLUB RELATASPACE: What would you do if you accidentally locked eyes with someone? Or forgotten someone’s name? Find out through Relataspace, a game of fun, relatable situations. We are having a sale before school on January 10-12 in the lower commons. One game costs just $18!
GIRLS BASKETBALL: You have two opportunities to cheer on The Mustangs Girls Basketball Team this week! First on Wednesday (1/10) the Mustangs travel to Forest Lake for a 7:00 PM tip off. Then they finish the week on Friday (1/12) with a home game against Woodbury. Tip off is at 7:00 PM on Kauls Court. Go Mustangs! ALL-1N!

In a battle to the end, the Mustangs tied East Ridge 2-2 in OT on Saturday. They face off against Centennial on Tuesday (1/9) at Centennial Sports Arena. Varsity puck drops at 7:00 PM. GIRLS HOCKEY
Girls hockey has two games this week. Thursday (1/11) at the SuperRink versus Woodbury. It’s also Youth Hockey Night so all kids wearing a jersey get in free!
