I cannot begin to express the overwhelming support, love, and generosity that Stella and I have received these past 5 months. Especially this past month of September. I don’t know that we’ll ever fully realize just how many people have been thinking of us and praying for our family.
So many of you have reached out to offer your condolences and support. I feel that while we attend Mass on weekends at Holy Cross near our house in Overland Park, our Catholic family surly resides here at SHOJ! Cassandra’s Rosary, visitation, and Funeral Mass organized by the staff were beautiful, and quite simply put, perfect.
The path we are on is laid out before us by our Heavenly Father. We’re not usually privy to all the steps that lay ahead and they are often only revealed to us just one step at a time. The strength we have to walk that path has been provided by all of the prayers we have received and continue to receive.
I want to thank you again on behalf of our entire family. We don’t yet know the next step God has put in front of us, but we know that with your continued prayers, we will continue to walk the path with trust and faithfulness.
As I’ve told many people, the love and support has been overwhelming…but not surprising!
