Ensemble Arts Philly Education Department would like to inform you that we have extended our application deadline for our FREE Middle School Summer Arts Sessions held in June at the Kimmel Center. Rising 5th-8th graders now have until March 14th to apply! Below is more information for you to pass along to any students who may benefit from some free summer arts programming.
Rising 9th – 12th Graders interested in Musical Theater can also apply for our High School Summer Arts Sessions held in July. Both programs are completely free of charge.
MIDDLE SCHOOL SUMMER ARTS SESSIONS
Our Middle School Summer Arts Sessions is a 9-day program for rising 5th-8th graders, geared towards students who may not have regular access to arts experiences. Participants receive introductory training in Dance, Theater, Digital Arts and Music. No experience is necessary. 48 total students from across the city will be selected via lottery and accepted students must be able to attend all days of the program for the full duration of each day.
Program dates = June 23 – July 3, 2025 (no program on weekend days).
HIGH SCHOOL SUMMER ARTS SESSIONS
Our High School Summer Arts Sessions is a 3-week program for rising 9-12th graders focusing on Singing, Dancing, and Acting, culminating in a full Junior Musical Theater production. No experience is necessary, but applicants are required to audition either in person or via video submission.
Program dates = July 7 – 25, 2025 (no program on weekend days).
