Happy Friday!
It’s hard to believe that we are already at that time of year where our 5th graders are picking out classes for next year. They are excited about their transition to middle school! Our Keeth students have grown so much already, and we still have three months to go.
Recently, I have been researching how to help our students increase their reading stamina. Reading stamina is important to academic success and is the ability to read for extended periods of time without becoming fatigued. I would like to share with you some ideas on how to help your child(ren) improve their reading stamina.
· Create a comfortable environment for reading
· Choose engaging material
· Set a purpose for reading: entertain, persuade, inform, improving fluency, etc.
· Gradually increase time spent reading
· Set reasonable goals
· Reflect on reading after each paragraph or page asking, “what did I just read?”.
· Celebrate success!
Together we can help our students become successful readers!
Have a great weekend,

Principal's Message 9/13/24
Happy Friday!
It has been amazing this week to see the growth our students are already making! We appreciate your support with helping our students be prepared for school each day and to arrive on time. Attendance Matters!
We are getting close to our goal for our annual Cougarthon Fundraiser. Thank you to those that have donated! If you have not yet donated, please consider giving just $10 per family. It goes a long way towards supporting our students and staff.
I have had several questions from families about the new online forms. To clarify for those who have reached out, if you check no on the “Local Use” item, your student will not be able to be in the yearbook.
If you have any questions about the online forms, please reach out to either the school at 407-320-5350 or to the Help Desk at 407-320-0350.
Have a great weekend!

Happy Friday!
It has been another outstanding week at Keeth Elementary. We had a lot of families in attendance at our 2nd-5th grade Curriculum Night. Thank you for braving the weather to attend this important event. Student success is a team effort, "One Community, One Family, We Are Keeth".
We had our Cougarthon Fundraiser kickoff on Thursday in the multipurpose room! Students had fun playing carnival style games against the special area teachers. So far, we have raised $4,460.00 of our $20,000 goal. Pleases consider participating in this fundraiser, which will run through Friday, September 27th. 100% of all monies donated support Keeth students and staff. Please see last week's Principal Message for how we used last year's funds. Thank you for helping support our school, we couldn't do it without you.
Have a great weekend!

Happy Friday!
It has been a wonderful week at Keeth Elementary! Our students have been working hard on their beginning of the year F.A.S.T. assessments, and our teachers are using that data to prepare lessons to best help their students reach their goals.
We have exciting news for next week. It is Cougarthon Fundraiser Kickoff on Tuesday, September 3rd. This fundraiser supports students and teachers at our school. We ask each family to consider participating and to share with family and friends. Last year we raised $19,000 and are setting our goal for this year at $20,000.
