This week we had a great week of field trips, TPSF Teens and our high school students had a visit from the UCI Neurology Department. Next week we start Finals week at the high school and 8th grade promotion is next week. Only 2 weeks left!

Let this sink in! Only 2 weeks left of school. It is amazing to think of how fast the year has gone by. For all students in 8th grade and anyone not returning to TUSD, please be sure to turn in your device. Additionally, we need your help to take two minutes and complete a quick survey. Hello Maverick Families,

We had a great week of celebrating our teachers and staff. We had lots of treats, snacks, and culminating in a luncheon on Friday. We appreciate our staff and were happy to be able to show them.

We need your help! After an incredible 3 year run and countless hours of support and activity, Mrs. McBride will be completing her final year as PTA President at the end of the month. With that being said, we need you🫵🫵🫵🫵🫵 as our next PTA President. With a vacancy in the position for next year, we are looking for someone to step into the role. Please consider doing so as it is an amazing way to give to the school.

Mrs. Wijnhamer had her baby! Aubrey Marie was born 6 lbs. 9 oz. So cute! family. As a reminder, while Mrs. W is out, Mrs. Harding will be supporting our students and families. Her email is bharding@tustin.k12.ca.us. Mrs. Wijnhamer will be returning for the last week of school and graduation.

Brainfuse HelpNow is an on demand, anytime, anywhere eLearning platform available for all ages and levels. Last week, it was announced that every Californian can now access free online tutoring available 24/7 through a new initiative offering homework help in every K-12 subject and skill-building resources for K-12 and adult learners.

Real-time homework assistance can now be accessed 24/7 here and on the websites of any of the 1,130 local public libraries around the state – click on the “HelpNow” link to reach a one-on-one tutor. The pilot program led by the State Library offers assistance in Math, Language Arts, and other core K-12 subjects in English, Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, and Tagalog. There’s no age limit to who can use the service. Adult learners can also access writing assistance, citizenship resources and other tools.

TUSD Resource Sora Summer Read

Sora Sweet Reads in an annual summer reading program designed for schools to encourage students to keep reading all year long. "Check out" the free collection of simultaneous use juvenile and young adult ebooks (and select audiobooks).

Login to Sora to access these and many any other great ebooks and audiobooks all summer long through Clever, TUSD Student Portal or soraapp.com using your TUSD Google login and password.
