Principal's Message
Hello Vista Academy Families,
This will be our final Bulldog News of the school year. We want to thank you for your continued support, partnership, and involvement throughout the year. We hope you enjoy a fun, relaxing, and safe summer with your family.
Over the summer, you can support your child's learning by creating a daily routine that includes time for reading together. Encouraging children to read a variety of books helps build vocabulary, comprehension, and a lifelong love of reading. Visiting the local library regularly, setting family reading goals, and discussing books during meals or car rides can make reading a shared and engaging experience. You can also model good reading habits by letting children see you read and by showing interest in your child’s reading choices. These small, consistent efforts can keep students mentally active and better prepared for the upcoming school year.
We’ll be in touch at the end of July with important information about the upcoming school year. Have a wonderful summer!

Student Voice!
Our Student Council recently did a lunchtime survey to gather input from students on ways to improve our school. We asked questions about recess activities, suggestions for school improvement, and ideas for the conservatory programs we will offer next year. The response was enthusiastic, and students shared thoughtful, creative suggestions that reflected their interests and hopes for our community.
At our school, student voice matters. Empowering students to share their ideas helps build a stronger, more inclusive environment. The survey results will be reviewed by the administration and staff to help guide decisions for next year. Whether it's adding new games at recess, improving spaces, or enriching our conservatory offerings, we’re excited to bring student ideas to life. Thank you for supporting our commitment to student leadership and agency
