ATTENTION! TURKEY TROT DATE CHANGE!
GOBBLE GOBBLE! TURKEY TROT IS MOVING TO MONDAY 11/11
DUE TO A COLD, WINDY, AND POTENTIALLY WET FORECAST THIS THURSDAY, TURKEY TROT HAS BEEN MOVED TO MONDAY NOVEMBER 11TH
We apologize if the change causes any stress to your plans or schedules. The kids (and grownups) will have a more enjoyable Turkey Trot with more agreeable weather. See below for helpful reminders for next Monday!
To make sure your student is ready for a day of trotting, bouncing, dancing, and MORE, please read these helpful reminders:
*Please send a water bottle with your student
*Turkey Trot t-shirts will be handed out the morning of 11/11 in classrooms
*PLEASE make sure to dress your student appropriately for the weather! A long sleeve shirt or sweatshirt is recommended to wear under their turkey trot t-shirts. Gloves and hats may also be helpful while moving in the cold weather. Layers are recommended just in case
*Wear comfortable shoes for movement
THANK YOU!
Wow! We are halfway there!
We have raised more than 34K! Ms. Holladay's second graders have shot UP into first place, but Ms. Wilson's kindergarteners are coming up fast, with Ms. Harris' class close behind! Keep those donations coming in through Thursday November 21!
To help us reach our goal of $60,000, you can donate through Pledgestar! You can also check out the classroom stats and follow along with how much we raise! You can find more info about Turkey Trot, including prize breakdowns, on our website!
Our goal of $60,000 funds so many important things for the school like every field trip, enrichment activities, programs like Square State Skate in PE, paraprofessional staff, and MORE! Thank you for your support! We couldn't do it without you!
COMPANY MATCHES
Did you know that many companies will match charitable donations? Check with your employer to see if they will match your Turkey Trot donation!
CHALK THE WALK UPDATE
CHALK THE WALK IS CANCELLED THIS YEAR DUE TO WEATHER AND SCHEDULE CHANGE
