This past Wednesday our school was able to attend the Anchorage Alaska College & Career Fair yearly event at the Alaska Airlines Center for 11th and 12th grade students. We had the largest turnout of students this year! Way to go FPCS students. Here are some fun pictures of teachers at this event.
As a quick reminder the first grading deadline (Quarter 1) is fast approaching on Friday October 18th. Your sponsor teachers are excited to start viewing all the wonderful things you are doing at home with your children so please start sending work samples their way!
National Fossil Day at the Alaska Botanical Gardens
Friday October 18th 12:00pm-3:00pm - is an annual celebration held to highlight the scientific and educational value of paleontology and the importance of preserving fossils for future generations. Join paleontologists and educators, and students in fossil-related events and activities in the Garden, included with the price and admission; Members and children 6 and under are free. Admission costs are reimbursable.
Free Archery class
October 29th 10:30am - 12:30pm at Kincaid Park in the wax bunker. You must register. Parents must accompany children. For ages 6yrs+Only 29 opening remaining. To register click here.
