Transition to Phase II - The Hybrid Model Beginning Tuesday, October 13
We are excited to welcome students back to campus beginning the week of October 13 as we begin the hybrid phase of our school re-entry plan. Throughout the past weeks we’ve been putting plans together to help students and staff make the transition go as smoothly as possible for everyone.
In order to answer your questions, we’ve put together a screencast - 9 Things Every Nipmuc Student Should Know about Going Hybrid - and a frequently asked question (FAQ) document. You can access all of this information by visiting our most recent post on NipmucPrincipals.com.
We ask that you read through that document to get answers about everything from staying healthy, the schedule, lunches, parking, asynchronous days, and more.
We recognize that our freshmen and new students may have additional questions starting school. We have included some freshman and new student-specific questions at the bottom of the FAQ document that is posted on the blog.
We look forward to seeing students at Nipmuc next week!

Every year, the School Counseling Center holds Breakfast with the Counselors workshops for parents and guardians of students in each grade. This year, we plan to bring those workshops online and open them all to parents/guardians of students in any grade. The workshops serve as a time for people to come together, share ideas, and learn how best to support their students as they navigate their high school careers. As the challenges have increased amidst the pandemic, we want to facilitate conversations early and often. Although it’s not mandatory, here is an article we recommend reading before the workshop: Resilience: Helping Your Teenager Cope with Challenges
A Note From The MURSD Technology Department
Dear Families,
We strive to eliminate communication barriers between MURSD and our families. We wanted to offer two helpful suggestions that would support the flow of critical information from the district.
1. Please add "no-reply@mursd.org" to your contacts. We hope that if our sending email address is in your contacts, it will not get filtered out of your inbox by your email provider.
2. Please install the MURSD app so your family can receive push notifications with crucial information. Here is a link to the Apple App, and here is the link Android App."
Thank you in advance for your support. Please reach out if you have any questions.
