ABIS Happenings

Everyone here at ABIS is so excited to welcome our new 5th-grade students and our returning students in 6th-8th grade.

Breakfast will be available to all students starting at 7:40am.

Starting at 7:50am,

• 5th and 6th graders will meet their homeroom teachers outside of the North Entrance adjacent to the softball and baseball fields.
• 7th and 8th graders can report directly to their homeroom.

All students are expected to enter through ABIS's Main Entrance; students are no longer along to come through the high school.

Remember that our first day, September 3rd, will be an early dismissal day with students exiting the building starting at 12:55pm.

If you have not already done so, please be sure to log in to the Parent Portal, where homerooms/schedules for the new school year will be available. It is important to note that parents and students must complete the appropriate forms and documents before gaining access to schedules.

• shall be TURNED OFF when entering the school and remain off until students are dismissed at the end of the day.

• shall be kept in a student's backpack (or other permitted school bag) or locker – not in their clothing

• are not allowed to be used in classrooms, the library, the locker room, common areas, hallways, the cafeteria, the gymnasium, all-purpose room, or restrooms

• are not allowed to be used during transition times or between classes.

If a student needs to communicate with a parent or guardian during the day, he or she may come to the office with teacher or staff permission and may use the school phone or personal device under the supervision of school administration/staff. Any misuse of these devices will result in disciplinary actions as outlined in the Discipline Guide.
