Welcome To Week #4
Dear Brahma Family,
Our Club Membership Drive continues every day this week during lunchtime. Each day showcases different clubs. All students are encouraged to explore every day to learn about the clubs on campus. Joining a club is a great way to meet fellow students who share your interests and establish new friendships.
Congratulations to Brahma Alumni Sahith Theegala. Sahith’s third place finish over the weekend in the PGA Tour’s Tour Championship earned him a $7,500,000 payday on Sunday. A graduate of the class of 2015 from Diamond Bar High School, Sahith continued his education at Pepperdine University, where he earned NCAA All-American honors three times as a golfer. He joined the PGA Tour in 2020.
HOPE (the Hispanic Organization for the Promotion of Education) will host its first meeting of the school year on Tuesday night. The meeting will take place in room 118 (the Bullpen) at 7:00 p.m.
This Saturday is the first Bunco for Brahmas of the school year hosted by our Brahma Foundation. The event will take place from 2-4 p.m. in the Golden Horseshoe. If you’ve never played Bunco, the Brahma Foundation will teach you how to play. Please come out and support the Brahma Foundation.
I hope everyone had a great Labor Day and has a fantastic week!
Sincerely,
David Hong
Principal

To the parents of DBHS Freshman:
Want to know more about the IB Diploma Program at DBHS?
Whether your freshman child is already IB Prep or you don’t know anything about what the DBHS IB Diploma Program is, you are welcome to attend the information night designed specifically for the parents of DBHS freshman.
The presentation is Wednesday, Sept 4, 2024 from 7-7:45 pm in the DBHS Theater. For those of you who already attended an information meeting last year, this information night will be a bit more in depth than the presentation given when your child was in 8th grade.
Thank you😊
