NWEA Assessments Begin December 9th!
Each year students in grades K-8 participate in Fall, Winter, and Spring Northwest Evaluation Association: Measures of Academic Progress (NWEA/MAP) assessments in English Language Arts and Math. The purpose of these assessment provides the opportunity for staff, administrators, and parent/guardians to examine and evaluate programs as well as student achievement and their well-being. These dynamic adaptive assessments provide valuable insights into students' academic abilities, allowing us to measure your student's achievement and growth in K-12 math, reading, and language usage to provide targeted instructional strategies and school improvement.

Bracing for Colder Weather: Stay Prepared as Temperatures Drop
As the weather changes, it's crucial to ensure that our children are dressed appropriately to stay comfortable and safe while outdoors. To assist you in planning your child's wardrobe, we've created a helpful weather chart that outlines the recommended clothing for different weather conditions.
You can find a comprehensive weather chart on our website: https://www.zion6.org/district/departments/student-services/weather
We encourage you to review it regularly to ensure your child is appropriately dressed for the day's weather.

Both teams were supported by the SPMS cheer team, the ZESD 6 pom squad, and a cheering community.
