Macie Moore – Macie demonstrates all of the iBelieve expectations each day! She enters the classroom with a warm smile and a friendly attitude. She is a hardworking student and often reminds her classmates that we can do hard things. Macie is always ready to support her classmates whether they need help with their classwork or if they need a cheerful pick me up. Macie shows her school spirit and Panther Pride for all events. At least once a day each day, Macie can be heard saying “This is the best day ever!” She is an incredibly enthusiastic student who truly embodies the title “Student of the Week.”

READERS ARE LEADERS
Readers are Leaders suggest some titles that go hand-in-hand with Monroe County’s Culture of Literacy for this Month, Fall into Literacy:
BRAG TAG CHALLENGE
Our first challenge will be announced this week! Students will earn Brag Tags when they meet the challenge! More information to follow😊.
I am looking for donations of Lysol Spray and Kleenex. I have a resurgence of Harry Potter readers and if you have a set available, we can use it here.
Thank you to all my wonderful volunteers! Email me here at school if you are interested in helping. Specifically, I'm looking for someone with "expertise" in setting up my aquarium. It will be a nice addition to our Media Center!
Happy Fall! Dr. Cash

Safety Chat with Officer Mercy
Dear Parents –
This year PKS has expanded their commitment to safety for our students and staff.
We are being even more vigilant during arrival and dismissal times and it would be very helpful if the only adults present during these times are the PKS staff. That way, if there is a stranger or someone who does not belong on school grounds, it will be obvious.
How you can assist:
- Stay in your vehicle
- Report anything out of the ordinary
- Drop off students at the end of the walkway, or at the South gate if walking/biking
Thank you all for your cooperation!!!
