Straight from the Hardt
Hello Ridgeline Families—
We’re winding down a fun and festive spirit week today! Well- actually we’re not winding anything down until midnight Saturday! We’re looking forward to the football tailgate party this afternoon. There will be tons of food and the weather looks perfect for a great night. The football game should be a good one and we will have the first ever homecoming royalty announced as well as a full performance from the Regiment! During the game you can follow our live broadcast hosted by Jack and Will. They will provide play-by-play, commentary, insight, and game stats and summary. Another Ridgeline first! Saturday the Regiment competes at Union Stadium in Mead and is looking to bring home some more hardware!
The big HOCO DANCE kicks off at 8:00 and the doors open at 7:30. It looks like we’re going to sell all 1000 tickets we ordered for the dance! So… it’s going to be an awesome crowd and a “you don’t want to miss it” type of night! This event will be held in the fieldhouse gym so students will be using the athletic/events entry on the West side that evening.
The only thing sad about being a senior at Ridgeline is that sometimes your “first” this year will also be your “last”! First RHS Homecoming dance, and the last one for our seniors. Each opportunity is a celebration and an important part of growing up. Just like our fall sports senior nights. Each season ending may bring a close to a young person’s athletic career in an organized sport. I always remind kids that there is so much more of your life ahead beyond your sport or activity that it will be OK!
Please take a look over today’s fantastic newsletter to stay informed and enjoy a look inside Ridgeline at all the great things happening and ways our students are growing and achieving!
Make it a great weekend! --Mr. Hardt
