Happy Spring to all of our Judy Center Families! 🌸☂️🌷☀️🐰🐝
April is a very busy month with several changes to our normal schedule, so please read and reach out to Jenny or Stacey if you have any questions!
The Judy Center will be closed from Friday, March 29 through Friday, April 5th for Spring Break! There will be NO PLAYGROUPS this week! Please be sure to take advantage of your home learning kits to continue learning at home!
The Judy Center will also be closed on Tuesday, April 9th and Tuesday, April 23rd as Jenny & Stacey attend a professional development class and the Judy Center Regional Meeting. There will be NO PLAYGROUPS ON THESE DAYS!
On Tuesday, April 30th, we will be having our playgroup at Church Hill Park from 10-11:30am as we celebrate the Month of The Young Child along with our partners at The Family Center and The Infants and Toddlers Program of Queen Anne's County. Join us for a fun day of outdoor play! Hope to see you there!
Evening playgroup will be held on Wednesday, April 17th at 5:30pm at Church Hill Elementary School! We hope to have our evening playgroup outside if the weather cooperates! If not, we will have it in the cafeteria! A light dinner will be served.
April Field Trip is TBD! Stay tuned more info!!
Our theme for April is Amazing Critters!🐛🐜🐝🐍
We will learn about small critters such as bugs, insects and amphibians. We will take a look at how they move (fly, hop, wiggle), how they look and what they eat.
INFANT PLAY GROUP! We have expanded our playgroups to include a special group just for parents and babies up to 18 months old!! The infant playgroups are held on Thursday mornings at 9:00am.
The Judy Center is an ideal setting for young children to develop emotional, social and cognitive skills to become life long learners. If you know anyone in the Church Hill School zone with children ages birth through 5 years old, please spread the word about us! We also serve children who reside anywhere in Queen Anne's county IF they have an IEP/IFSP. We would love to have them join our playgroups! It's FREE!

What is the Judy Center and Who Do We Serve?
The Judy Center Early Learning Hub provides resources to help parents and caregivers prepare their children for success in school and life. We serve children and their families living in the Church Hill Elementary School zone from birth through age five. We also serve children who reside anywhere in Queen Anne's County IF they have an IEP/IFSP.
We provide home learning kits, playgroups, home-visits, field trips, parent/caregiver support and food assistance. All of these services are FREE!
In addition, we can connect families to other services such as adult education classes, childcare support, healthcare services and much more.
