Due to the snow day on January 6th, the school year for students has been extended to June 18th. The last day for teachers will be June 19th.

E-Bikes are no longer permitted at NMS. Recent riding activity on the fields of North and NMS as well as evasive actions to avoid Newtown PD when encountered has led us to this decision. In addition, in Pennsylvania, riders must be at least 16 years old to operate an e-bike.

As we approach the end of the school year, we kindly remind you to check for and resolve any outstanding balances or obligations. Taking care of these items in a timely manner helps ensure a smooth end-of-year process for everyone.

Please review the following common obligations:

• Unpaid lunch balances

• Overdue or unreturned library books

• Damaged or lost Chromebooks

• Damaged or lost Chromebook Chargers

• Unreturned classroom textbooks

We encourage you to begin checking on and resolving any obligations now, as there are still 26 days left in the school year. Taking care of these items early will help avoid any last-minute issues and ensure a smooth end to the year.
