i-Ready Minutes
November i-Ready Minutes
Hello Lehigh Families,
i-Ready is a great resource for our kids to use daily. The expectation is for ALL students to do 45 minutes of Reading and 45 minutes of Math every week. If you have access to a computer and the internet, you will be able to access i-Ready at home. Use the student Symbaloo link-
https://omsdstudent.symbaloo.com/home/mix/13ePBice8A and go through CLEVER to log into i-Ready.
This month, the 4th grade accumulated the most i-Ready minutes for Reading and Math!! Congratulations to both grade levels. Keep up the great work.
THANK YOU!!

Attendance Matters
Attendance counts!
We continue this year's attendance campaign is "Every Day Matters," Regular attendance is crucial for student success, helping to build strong academic foundations and fostering a vibrant school community. This month, keep an eye out for exciting activities and events focused on the impact of showing up every day! #AttendanceAwarenessMonth #AttendanceCampaign #EveryDayMatters #WEAREOMSD #StriveForLessThan5
Come to school every day-we have so many fun incentives happening right now. We have our attendance assemblies where we honor students with monthly perfect attendance and classrooms with a trophy to keep for the month! We have perfect attendance parties for classrooms who have students here on time every day and complete their Lehigh letters coloring. And last but not least we have attendance surprise days; one per month!
Traffic Safety
We want to kindly remind everyone of the importance of keeping our streets and driveways clear for the safety and convenience of all our families.
Lately, we’ve noticed an increase in double parking, unattended vehicles, and cars blocking the school driveway during pick-up and drop-off times. This creates potential safety hazards and can cause significant inconvenience for our neighbors.
To ensure everyone’s safety and smooth traffic flow, please:
1. Always park in designated spaces.
2. Please stay in your vehicle while waiting, if possible, to keep the area clear.
3. Be mindful of the driveways. Never block a driveway, as this can prevent the flow of traffic and for buses accessing our school driveway.
Let’s work together to make drop-off and pick-up times safe and respectful for everyone in our community. We truly appreciate your cooperation!
PAWS OUT for the classes that had the best attendance!
December Clubs
Hi parents,
Session #3 will be starting on December 3. We have a lot of fun clubs this session....Drones, poetry, clay, art, ping-pong, science experiments, leadership, just to name a few. There is a club for everyone! There is still time to register your child, but don't wait to long as clubs are filling up.

Instructional Focus: Celebrating Traditions
Dear Parents,
As we approach the holiday season, we are reminded of the beauty and diversity of traditions celebrated around the world during this time of year. From lighting candles during Hanukkah and Kwanzaa to decorating Christmas trees and gathering for festive feasts, every culture brings its own unique ways of creating joy and togetherness.
At Lehigh, we cherish the opportunity to learn about and celebrate the many traditions that make our community so rich and vibrant. We encourage you to take this season as an opportunity to share your family's traditions with your children and those around you. It’s a wonderful time to celebrate what makes us unique and the values that connect us all.
May your holiday season be filled with peace, joy, and memorable moments with loved ones. Thank you for being an essential part of our community.
Warm Wishes,

Positive Behavior Interventions and Support (PBIS) Expectations and Examples
- "Remember to always show RESPONSIBILITY by having your materials for class."
- "Remember to always be READY TO LEARN in the classroom."
- "How did you show RESPECT today?"
It is always a great conversation topic to also talk about how you showed RESPECT, RESPONSIBILITY, and READY TO LEARN in your daily life. We teach our students by example so sharing your experiences during your day is always a great opportunity to TEACH and MODEL!
