What an incredible first full week back we have had!
Our Kindergartners got to join in on the fun this week, it's been so great seeing them in the halls.
We had great success at the Kindie Signing event and Boohoo/Woohoo breakfast. We believe it was mostly Woohoo because we have such a great staff and we know that our kiddos are taken care of! Thank you to all who made it out to this event.

Each year, thanks to our community and fundraising, CMEA orders and provides a free T-shirt to all students and staff based on our school theme for the year. This year's school theme is In Our Kindness Era, based on the book A Little Spot of Kindness by Diane Alber.

This is our fall grants meeting. Teachers/Staff have two opportunities throughout the year to submit grant requests to CMEA. This includes anything from supplement curriculum, supplies for the classroom, field trips, tools for teachers/staff etc. We will be reviewing the grants submitted for the fall semester. We will also be discussing ways to spend the funds that come in from our Fall Fundraiser in October, so please bring your ideas!
SAC Meeting August 26th @ 4:00pm in the CME library
The School Accountability Committee is looking for new members, as well as members of the community to simply observe and join in the discussions. We meet once a month and discuss all the things going on in the school, as well as introducing a different specialty staff member each month. We have snacks! Please join us if you are interested in learning about what's going on at CME.
We are able to do so many events and fundraisers for our school because of the wonderful volunteers we have. If you are interested in helping our efforts, please let us know by completing our online form and indicating the areas you would like to help us with this year. VOLUNTEER FORM
We will be kicking off our CME PTO volunteer year at our first PTO meeting, September 6th at 8:45am in the CME cafeteria. Please join us to meet other parent volunteers and join our various committees. Snacks will be provided.

Volunteers are needed to help set up, check in families and clean up after the event.

Sponsoring your local elementary school is not only a great way to show your support for the school, but it's an easy way to get lots of local eyes on your business! Between banners on the fence outside the school, your logo on the back of the school t-shirt, and shout outs on our website, social media and at events, you'll get your name in front of many new local neighbors.
