Office Updates
MAP and iReady benchmark testing
Every quarter students participate in benchmark assessments that help us gather data on how they are progressing through curriculum, and how we are achieving in comparison to other schools in the district. The assessments are computer based, and one of the many data points that give us a picture of your child as a student. We are in the process of completing these assessments now. Your child's teacher will communicate your student's progress, strengths and areas for growth through their report cards. Report cards are being worked on by teachers on Monday. Report cards should be viewable online next Friday.
Attendance Robo calls
Our robocalls for attendance are going out at 9am. Our attendance secretary doesn't arrive until 8:30, so you may receive a call before we have the opportunity to correct the attendance for late arrivals. As always, if you have concerns, please feel free to contact the office.
ECO School Opportunity
Eco School is hosting a Winter workshop. If you feel it's appropriate to share with staff (newsletter). If anyone is interested, it's for folks who are already working on sustainability or outdoor schoolyard projects to connect with others, access resources, and get some mentorship.

Winter Party. Thank you: Thank you so much for bringing your warmth, joy, and festive spirit to the Festive Forest Winter Party! It was wonderful to see so many of you come together to celebrate, socialize and strengthen our community. We hope you enjoyed the BRAVO student showcase, the Pizza from Fino, the cookie decorating, BINGO and all the rest. We enjoyed putting it all together for you and couldn’t have done it without Suzie, Stef, Laura, Kate, Candy, Charles and the SUN crew and Tanya and the campfire club. It was great to have Peninsula alumni and Ockley Green volunteers and all rest of you who pitched in. Your support and enthusiasm mean so much to us, and we look forward to more moments of connection and celebration in the future.
