This collection of videos and resources was compiled to instruct and support at home learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. Links can be copied to share in your Google Classroom or alternative platform for education. Lesson can be built by copying and pasting multiple links into a Google Slide so that students can access an organized list of activities for the day.

Our focus this unit:

• Double Vowel Syllable Type

• Sounds of ea, ee, ey

• Use of spelling option procedure

• Combining all types of syllables

• Homophones

Suggestions: Create a Google Form for students to add their own sentence using the Word of the Day or have them add their sentence to a Flip Grid.

Suggestion: Students can practice Trick Words creatively through the use of a choice board. One day they may rainbow write, or use play dough to form letter, or pyramid build the word. There are many ways to have fun with this reinforcement!

Suggestion: Create and Google document or form where students can record answers to comprehension questions based on the story. Also, have students "make a movie" and share their own illustration to summarize and retell the story.

Suggestion: Each link can be copied and inserted into Google Slide for easy distribution on Google Classroom.
