Chromebooks are an essential tool for learning in middle school, and students are responsible for the battery life of their chromebook.

KMS teachers expect students to bring their charger to and from school each day, and we emphasize that chromebook chargers "live" in student backpacks whenever the charger is not plugged in. Please help your child build a habit of charging their chromebook each night and bringing their charger to school each day.

If your child needs a replacement charger, a 45-watt USB-C charger like this one will work well.

All current sixth and seventh grade students have cases on their devices for additional protection with wear and tear. Please remind your child that removing this case nullifies the district's coverage for break/fix.

If your child plans to ride their bike to and from school, please take a few minutes to preview THIS IMPORTANT BIKE SAFETY VIDEO by Dublin Police together! We want all of our students to arrive to and from school safely and have already made note of several students darting into traffic and other unsafe actions! And please, remember those helmets!!

Karrer 8th grade bands students will join HS marching bands on the field at an upcoming home high school football game!

Students attending Jerome next year will be performing TONIGHT Aug. 30th at Jerome.

Students attending Coffman next year will be performing on Sept. 6th at Coffman.

Students will be performing Hang on Sloopy during pregame on the field with the HS bands and other Dublin MS bands. They will then play in the stands during the game. There will be over 250 band students on the field at the same time!! KMS Band Students attend the game for free. Parents, buy tickets online at the HS Athletics page.

Karrer Interact Club will be hosting a school wide “Dublin Dash” during LINK where we will crown the fastest students (and teachers) at KMS!

Karrer will be challenging Davis MS Interact Club to see who can raise more money! Our proceeds will go to the Dublin Food Pantry. More information will be shared Tuesday during LINK next week with your child, but here are the basics for you to know ahead of time:

Students can make donations during their lunch period.

$2 donation = entry to compete in the dash

Every additional $1 can be donated to nominate a teacher to run in the dash. No limit on how much they can donate!

What to do When an Injury Occurs

Injuries are a part of athletics and all sports. A majority of these injuries are minor bumps, bruises and scrapes which require basic first aid and icing. But if left untreated, even the most minor of injuries can become a big problem. Please read the following for our procedures and the people involved in the care of your athlete.

Redistricting Update
