We have been operating on an A/B schedule for 5th-8th grade all year. Starting Monday, 5th and 6th, will be piloting our possible schedule for next year, which means they will have every class, every day and will no longer be on an A/B schedule. There will not be any schedule changes for 7th and 8th at this time. 7th and 8th graders need to reference their grade level newsletter for A/B information.

Please DO NOT schedule vacations, doctor appointment or anything that would require your child to be out of school this week! This week is very important! K-2 students will take their final iReady assessment and 4th-8th will take their state assessments. We will be completing make-ups the week of May 28th, which means your child could miss a fun trip or experience if they have yet to complete their assessments. Attendance is crucial!

We are starting a new system that will require your signature to acknowledge your child's tardy to school. We have tried different versions of this but they have not been successful. Hoping this one works!

• "Playground" doors will continue to open at 7:15 a.m.
• At 7:40 a.m. administration will have students enter through the front office, as usual.
• At 7:45 a.m. adults will sign tardy acknowledgement form and then proceed to the office where they will receive a tardy slip before heading to class.

Your child MUST be in the building by 7:45 a.m. to not be considered tardy. Getting out of the car at 7:45 a.m. does not count!

• Monday, April 15th: operate as usual with verbal warnings and acknowledgement of the warning.
• Monday, April 22nd: tardy slips will be given out at 7:45 a.m. Administration will be outside with a clipboard. If your child is not in the building by 7:45 a.m. you will complete a form from your car to inform you that your child is late. Once your child enters the building they will receive a tardy slip from the front office.

Administration will provide extra time if deemed necessary for heavy traffic or rain.
