FFA News
The Page Middle FFA Land Evaluation Team Made a little history on October 1st at the Middle Tennessee FFA Regional Land Evaluation Event. There were 44 teams (only one middle school team in the senior division) and 171 individuals in the FFA division.
The team placed 3rd in the event and will now move on to the state contest to be held in November in Cumberland County, Tennessee. This is the second year in a row that the team will move on to the state event and they will be the only middle school team in the 12-team event. If they place top 5 in the state, they qualify for the National Land Evaluation Event that is held in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, in May.
Individual Results are as follows:
Jack Paiva 1st high individual-This is the first time a middle school student has ever been high individual in this event and the first time sponsor Tommy Green has ever had one of his students be high individual in this event!!
Killian Carey 15th high individual
Harper Green 16th high individual
Leah Wann 19th high individual
Also, 6th grader Wyatt Jones competed in the 4H division and placed 3rd as an individual in Junior 4H division.
