PRINCIPAL LINSKI NOTES - Week of MAY 13, 2024
Dear ISAAC Middle School Families,
As we approach the end of the school year, I want to take a moment to remind everyone of the importance of finishing strong. With only a few weeks left, it's crucial for students to continue to arrive on time, keep their cell phones away during class, and maintain their focus on their studies.
Just like in a race, every moment counts, and it's essential for students to give their best effort until the very end. Let's work together to ensure that each student finishes the school year on a high note and celebrates their achievements.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership in your child's education. Together, we can help them succeed and thrive.
Best regards,
Principal Linski
ISAAC Middle School Gears Up for SBAC Testing Week
New London, CT- ISAAC Middle School is buzzing with anticipation as students, teachers, and staff gear up for the upcoming SBAC testing week, set to commence next Monday. With a strong emphasis on preparedness and readiness, the school administration is leaving no stone unturned in ensuring that students are equipped to perform at their best during this crucial period.
Scheduled to take place from Monday (May 13th) to Friday (May 17th), the Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium (SBAC) tests serve as a benchmark for assessing students' proficiency in key subjects such as English Language Arts and Mathematics. As the testing week looms closer, ISAAC Middle School is rallying its student body to prioritize their physical and mental well-being, recognizing the integral role it plays in achieving academic success.
We want our students to shine during the SBAC testing week, and that begins with taking care of themselves. It's imperative that students prioritize a good meal, get sufficient sleep, and come to school fully equipped each day.
Preparedness extends beyond physical well-being. Students are reminded to bring their fully charged Chromebooks and ensure they have their chargers with them to facilitate a smooth testing experience. Moreover, punctuality is emphasized as a critical factor, with students encouraged to arrive at school on time each day to maximize their testing opportunities.
ISAAC is excited to see our students showcase all they have learned over the year. Each day is an opportunity for them to bring their 'A GAME' and demonstrate their skills and knowledge. We take great pride in their achievements and are confident in their ability to rise to the occasion.
ISAAC Middle School extends its heartfelt appreciation to families and caregivers for their unwavering support in preparing students for the SBAC testing week. Their partnership and encouragement play a pivotal role in fostering a positive testing environment and empowering students to excel.
As the countdown to SBAC testing week begins, the ISAAC community is united in its determination to support students every step of the way. With diligence, determination, and a collective spirit, they stand ready to embrace the challenge and showcase the excellence that defines the ISAAC Dragons.
