Annual Meal of Thanks - Help Needed
We are so very thankful for our students and staff! To help us celebrate our community we would like to continue with our traditional Meal of Thanks on Tuesday, November 26th!
Each year, right before Thanksgiving break, our kitchen staff makes an amazing meal for all students and staff to enjoy. This includes turkey, potatoes and gravy, green beans, stuffing, salad bar, pie, milk and more.
It takes a lot of people to make and serve this awesome meal! We need your help! We are in need of volunteers to help following shifts:
- 7:30 am to 1:00 pm (2-3 volunteers) - help in the kitchen
- 10:00 am to 1:00 pm (3-4 volunteers) - to help serve
We are also looking for donations. We are hoping to raise enough money to cover the cost of the meal. We do receive the standard lunch reimbursement from the federal government for each student that covers part of the cost per person but not all. We do not receive any reimbursement for staff.
If you would like to make a donation to the AFSA K-12 Meal of Thanks please go to:

Thank you for your continued support of AFSA K-12!
