Principals Message:
It was an outstanding week in our Eagle Nation.
- Thank you to everyone for making the first week of AP testing a huge success. The number of CHS students' AP testing has increased over the last several years, with several AP tests having almost doubled the number of CHS students testing this year. This shows an increasing trend of our CHS students challenging themselves, taking rigorous classes, and demonstrating their increasing academic performances. But our students can only do this with support. From families helping students study at home to teachers spending extra time offering afterschool AP study classes to staff volunteering to support testing, it takes everyone supporting students to push themselves to make it possible for them to show what they have learned and challenge them shel to take these optional AP tests in there different courses. Thank you all for supporting our growing college and career-ready school culture.
- Also, great job to all our CHS Seniors who presented their Senior Projects during Thursday's Eagle Expo. Thank you to everyone who supported them, gave feedback, participated, and made this a great event and an experience for our CSD students.
- There is still time to see the CHS Performing Arts Department's presentation of “Little Shop of Horrors.” The Spring Musical Thank you to everyone who has seen this fun and outstanding performance. If you have not gotten the chance, there are a few performances left, so please support our Performing Arts and watch this Musical today, May 11th, at both 2 PM and 7 PM in the CHS Auditorium. So come and support our outstanding students and the Performing Arts Today!
- It was great that on Friday, incoming 9th-grade students from CMS interested in student Leadership met with current CHS Leadership Students at CHS. Thank you to everyone who made this possible. They are already planning how to make our Eagle Nation even better for next year!
- Great job to the CHS Track team that hosted the NWOC District Track meet on Wednesday and Friday this week. It was a lot of work and a great showcase for our new facilities. Thank you to all the coaches, staff, Athletics students, and community volunteers who made this possible. The CHS Boys' Track team took second place, and our very own Khen San was the co-outstanding athlete at the meet. Great job, Eagles!
- Speaking of a great job, the Centennial Spring Sports teams continued to have a great week! Thanks to everyone supporting our Centennial Spring Sports teams. Make sure to come on out to support a CHS sports team. Go Eagles!
- We appreciate our CHS Teacher and Staff! Thank you for all that you do. Happy Teacher/Staff Appreciation Week. Thank you to everyone who took the time to appreciate a CHS Teacher/Staff Member during Teacher Appreciation Week with all the gifts and positive messages. We have the best staff, and all of you are appreciated! Thank you for supporting our caring CHS Culture.
Remember, "Once an Eagle, Always an Eagle" at CHS!

There is still time to sign up if interested. Contact Kris Dowell for more information.
