Senior of the Week
Monique Heung was nominated by her counselor, Ms. Orozco. "I am very happy to nominate Monique Heung for Senior of the Week due to her incredible academic performance and exceptional resilience. What I admire about Monique is that she has the ability to face challenges with a positive attitude and a determination to succeed. I have been lucky to witness her ability to go above and beyond for not just herself but those around her. I am confident that Monique will continue to excel in everything they pursue
Athlete of the Week
Betty Peng was nominated by her tennis coach, Mr. Magnant. "Betty has continued to grow within the sport of tennis. Her hard work and dedication have helped build her game. She continues to be a positive presence on the team and is respected by all. She now helps lead the Lady Raiders into the CIF team and individual playoffs."
Scholar of the Week
Getsemani S. Rosas was nominated by her French teacher, Ms. Daoudi. "I am delighted to nominate Getsemani due to her remarkable academic achievements and dedication to French. As a student in French I, Getsemani consistently demonstrates outstanding performance, excelling in both the written and spoken aspects of the language. Her grades are consistently among the highest in the class, reflecting not only her natural aptitude but also her tireless work ethic and commitment to mastering the material."
Arts Person of the Week
Joe Jack Choon was nominated by his choir teacher, Mr. Harris. "Joe Jack is one of the most dedicated and prepared students in the choir program. He is also very supportive and always wants the program to be the best it can be. He also is one of the most liked individuals in the program because he is drama-free, talented, funny and always looks out for others in the choir program."
