The race is officially on…With just one week remaining, the top 3 classrooms to fundraise the most dollars towards Oster’s Enrichment Fund by 9/22 will win a Pizza Party with their classmates. Who is in the lead so far? Our current top-rankers are Growitz (2nd), Acton (2nd), & Augustine (K), followed closely by Plane (4th/5th), & Rogers (K). Help your student & class earn Pizza HERE!

Bestselling Author Trudy Ludwig Coming to Oster!

On October 10-12, students and staff at Lietz, Van Meter, Oster, and Alta Vista Elementary Schools will have the opportunity to spend time with Trudy Ludwig, an acclaimed speaker and award-winning author of numerous children’s books including The Invisible Boy, a School Library Journal Best Picture Books Selection and a recommended back-to-school book by USA Today and Scholastic Instructor.

Trudy Ludwig and her publishers have provided us with a discount on the books authored by her and she will be available to personally sign your copy! Click here to visit the HSC website and place your order! All orders need to be placed before September 27, 2023.

Frozen Fridays

A favorite Oster Tradition, Frozen Friday, happens each week! Stop by after school on Fridays outside the cafeteria to purchase a frozen treat and hang with friends! All treats are $1 or $2. Small bills are appreciated or we can take ApplePay! OR, purchase a Frozen Friday Card here!

Sign up to Volunteer! This is a great opportunity to get involved with HSC & Oster’s connected community and only takes an hour or so on Friday afternoon!
