TIME TO REGISTER
Dear Families,
Registration for all students returning to District 100 for the 2024-2025 school year will open on Monday, March 25, 2024. Families will receive a SnapCode to register their child(ren). The email will be from noreplyregistration@powerschool.com - please use the code to register your child as a returning student. Please check your spam folder and if you have not received the code, please contact the main office at your child's school.
In order to effectively plan for class sections and staffing for next school year, we ask that all returning students complete the online registration process by May 31, 2024. If your child will not be returning to District 100 next year, please inform the office staff at your child's school as soon as possible.
Kindergarten registration remains open. Please note that children must be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2024 to register for kindergarten and should be registered at the home school based on your current address.

La inscripción para todos los estudiantes que regresan al Distrito 100 para el año escolar 2024-2025 abrirá el lunes, 25 de marzo de 2024. Las familias recibirán un Código Snap (SnapCode) para inscribir a su hijo/a/s. El correo electrónico vendrá de noreplyregistration@powerschool.com- por favor use el código para inscribir a su hijo/a como un estudiante que regresa.
Para poder planear eficazmente las secciones de las clases y el personal para el próximo año escolar, le pedimos que todos los estudiantes que regresan completen la inscripción en línea para el 31 de mayo de 2024. Si su hijo/a no va a regresar al Distrito 100 el próximo año, por favor informe al personal de la oficina de la escuela de su hijo/a lo antes posible.
La inscripción para Kindergarten permanece abierta. Por favor note que los niños tienen que tener 5 años el o antes del 1 de septiembre de 2024, para inscribirse para kindergarten y deben inscribirse en la escuela que corresponde de acuerdo con su domicilio actual.

Ms. Patino's Occupational Therapy Corner
Fine motor skills can be defined as the precision, dexterity and coordination of hands during daily activities. In the classroom, students use these skills to grasp writing utensils, use scissors, type on their iPads, and manipulate small objects to build and play. For kids, their main occupation is play! A lot of the skills they need to do well academically are learned through play.

La motricidad fina se puede definir como la precisión, destreza y coordinación de las manos durante las actividades diarias. En el aula, los estudiantes usan estas habilidades para agarrar utensilios de escritura, usar tijeras, escribir en sus iPads y manipular objetos pequeños para construir y jugar. ¡Para los niños, su principal ocupación es jugar! Muchas de las habilidades que necesitan para tener un buen desempeño académico se aprenden a través del juego.
