We are happy to announce the Tax Workshop schedule for you to get free tax assistance! You do not need an appointment to attend these workshops but we do encourage you to register for these workshops using this link.

On campus Workshops in COB 210:

March 11 - April 18, 2024 (including Spring Break!)

Mondays, 6:00-7:30 pm and 7:30-9:00 pm

Thursdays, 1:30-3:00 pm

Virtual Workshops:

March 23, 2024 1:00-3:00 pm

April 6, 2024 1:00-3:00 pm

April 20, 2024 1:00-2:30 pm (ONLY for students with no U.S. income, filing Form 8843)

Be sure to bring the following documents with you to the Tax Workshop:

• Passport

• Visa

• I-20 or DS-2019

• I-94 Travel History

• W2 (if applicable)

• 1042-S (if applicable) - Will be mailed around March 15th. Make sure your mailing address is updated in MyUCA!

• Completed In-take Form - these forms are also available to pick up in the Center for Global Learning and Engagement Office

If you need to stay on campus over Spring Break, you must apply on my.uca.edu in your MyHousing Portal before Friday, March 15th at noon.

If you are traveling outside of the United States please make sure page 2 of your I-20 or 1 of your DS-2019 is signed for travel.

Please follow the instructions below to get your I-20 or DS-2019 signed:

1. Fill out the travel signature form

2. Drop off your I-20 or DS-2019

3. Wait for an email about when to pick up your documents

OPT application packets are available at the front desk. If you were not able to attend one of the information sessions, be sure to pick up a packet. There will be a fee increase on April 1 (new fee is $470) so if you know for sure you want to apply for OPT, do it before April 1.
