Eclipse Presentation - Come join our celebration. STEM Challenge Initiative Inc. sponsored by St. Franklin County. Sunday, April 7th. 2:00 to 4:00 PM. Location: Missisquoi Valley Union High School. 100 Thunderbird Drive, Swanton, Vermont.

Historically, a Solar Eclipse has been shown to create major traffic issues. To ensure the safety of all Maple Run students and staff, Monday, April 8, 2024 will be a no-school day. We will make it up at the end of the school year, similar to a snow day.

Eclipse Celebration at Hard'ack. Music by The Smokey Newfield Project, Games, Great Food from The Clean Spoon. All the fun is free! Food, Drink & Swag for sale.

Families and students came to City School in abundance on Tuesday evening to experience joy and creativity at this year's STEAM festival. Our doorkeeper counted 179 children and 124 adults (over 300 people). Hosting and managing the event were at least 30 staff members from City School and additional staff from eight supporting organizations. The cafeteria and two gymnasiums were very busy places for two hours. Thanks to the makerspace staff who orchestrated this extraordinary event.

Seventy one students and seventeen adults (88 total) walked to school this Wednesday (4-2-2024). The weather cooperated making it an easy morning to walk. The numbers were a bit low for this time of year. Participation could have been effected by the very popular STEAM event on Tuesday evening. Many of those who attended the STEAM event also like to walk to school. It would have been harder to get up Wednesday morning than usual.

Team Discovery had the highest student participation rate for Walking Wednesday. Nice work!

Fellow students will ask you different questions about your book. If you're shy about your voice being recorded this might not be a job for you. We look forward to seeing you in the library soon.
