ADA stands for Average Daily Attendance and is defined as the total days of student attendance divided by the total days of instruction. Check out SGE's ADA trends in the chart above.

"98 IS Great!" We'll celebrate as a campus when we hit a week with 98% attendance!

We recognize that illnesses and events take place that necesitate absences, however, we do encourage every student to be in school every day he/she is able. Let's work for 98%!

This week's Leader of the Pack is celebrated for his kindness and a specific good deed!

"Phinn could tell how heart broken another student was due to forgetting a hat on Hat Day. Phinn let the other student wear his hat for most of the day. Phinn has a huge heart!"

Academics + Character = Success

Thank you for your efforts in supporting our school! This fundraiser profited $20,427! This money goes toward enriching the campus environment for students and teachers in ways such as student incentives, staff awards, instructional supplies and resources, field trip shirts, and family involvement activities. Thank you, SGE families and friends!

Emergency response and preparedness is of utmost importance. Our students and staff completed our monthly fire drill with success on Friday, November 15th.

BRAVO to the following classes for earning the top growth-point averages in their grade for the month of November! These classes will have the trophy signs hanging outside of their classrooms!

Starting this 3rd six weeks, we are upping the criteria for Responsible Attendance. Responsible Attendance will be defined at SGE as having not more than 1 absence, 1 tardy, OR 1 leave early!

As always, every six weeks is a clean slate and a new opportunity to earn recognitions! Regular school attendance is so very crucial because of its direct correlation to student achievement.

Submit an email on the same day as the transportation change request by 1:30 p.m. to sge-transportation@burnetcisd.net

Include the following details in the email:

• Student’s full name
• Student’s grade level
• Student’s homeroom teacher
• The transportation change you want made for today (bus rider to car rider or car rider to bus rider)

Requests made after 1:30pm will not be processed. Notes, phone calls, text messages and emails sent to any other email will not be processed.
