West End Dolphin Pod Squad,
It was another great week to be a West End Dolphin! We are proud to share that several classes celebrated meeting the Attendance Challenge with:
- Flashlight Friday
- PJ Days
- Picnic Lunches outside!
Additionally, Friday was a SDPC Fun Friday! Here are some highlights:
- K4 & K5 students enjoyed spooky-themed activities.
- 1st and 2nd graders participated in a coding lesson with our SDPC Instructional Technology Coach.
- 3rd and 4th graders experienced science presentations from Roper Mountain Science Center's Science on Wheels Program.
- 5th graders had a special field trip organized by our amazing school district on Friday, October 18th!
At West End, we celebrate reaching our goals, working hard to master essential standards, and having fun while learning!
This week, we are excited to kick off Red Ribbon Week! This event is a time to celebrate our commitment to making healthy choices and saying no to drugs. Check out the graphic below for how we plan to encourage our dolphin pod squad to join in the fun and help spread the message of healthy choices!
As we look forward to more exciting activities ahead, we are thrilled to partner with you in your child's educational journey. Together, we can empower our students as leaders and learners.
