Dear Leasure Families,
Thank you for your continued cooperation and understanding during the recent inclement weather adjustments, including school closings and the 2-hour delayed openings. We appreciate your flexibility and support in keeping our students safe. As snowy weather continues, please ensure your child dresses warmly with appropriate shoes to stay comfortable and safe during outdoor transitions.
To prepare for potential remote learning days due to weather, students are expected to carry their devices home daily and bring them back to school each day fully charged. This ensures they are ready to pivot to remote learning if necessary. If you have not yet signed the district’s Technology Agreement, we kindly ask that you do so as soon as possible to ensure your child’s continued access to instructional technology. We are also excited to announce that the Girls Inc. program will begin on January 15th. Parents of students participating in the program have already been informed.
Additionally, we are proud to participate in the 2025 Spread the Word – Inclusion campaign, promoting kindness, acceptance, and inclusion for all. If you would like to order a campaign t-shirt, please find the order form linked here: Spread The Word Campaign

Dear Leasure Families,
We are excited to announce that our school will be participating in the Spread the Word Campaign as part of the Special Olympics Unified Champion Schools program. This initiative promotes inclusion, dignity, respect, and acceptance for individuals of all abilities through school-wide activities and inclusive leadership.
A key highlight of this campaign is the Spread the Word Inclusion T-shirt, worn by thousands of students and staff across the country to show their support for inclusion. If you would like to order a t-shirt for your child, please submit your order using the link below and send $7 cash only to your child's homeroom teacher by February 12th:

The campaign officially takes place on the first Wednesday in March, and we encourage all students to wear their t-shirts proudly to show their commitment to inclusion in our school and community.
