A Note from Mr. Schmidt

Dear St. Petronille families,

The HVAC summer project is wrapped up, the classrooms are decorated, the teachers have endured their before-school-meetings with their pestering Principal, school supplies have been picked up, our new families have been welcomed and oriented, and we are READY for a new school year!

We are so excited to kick off the 24-25 school year with all of you this weekend at our Blessing of the Backpacks mass at 11:30 AM on Sunday followed by our Open House until 2:00 PM. It is a wonderful opportunity to meet your child's teacher, see the school, and drop off supplies in your classroom to be ready for the first day!

The curtain is officially up for the new year on Tuesday morning when we welcome our 1st-8th grade students outside in the parking lot on their first day! Please see the instructions linked below for our Day 1 procedures and please reach out with any questions.

Arrival and Dismissal Procedures for the new school year were distributed by Mrs. Wardynski earlier this week. Please see the button below for full details.

Please make a note that our hot lunch program begins on Monday, August 26th. Please plan to pack a lunch for your child(ren) next week Wednesday through Friday if they are in grades 1-8!

We have a BRAND NEW WEBSITE! Thank you to Mrs. Jennifer Wardynski, Mrs. Debbie Quirk, Mr. Jonathan Sluys, and Mr. Michael Cooney for a huge amount of work to get a new site off the ground. Please check it out at https://www.stpetschool.org/!

We also have brand new scoreboards in our gym! Thank you to The JRICH Company for making the project possible!
