November 2024
Happy November!
It's hard to believe it's already November! The holiday season is coming quick and we can't wait to celebrate all of the fun events and moments with your students and families! Please be sure to read through this newsletter for important dates and information!
It's Getting Colder!
This is the time of year we all have to convince our children to start wearing long pants, long sleeves, and coats! Please remember to send your students to school with these items as well as hats and gloves as we begin to approach the cold, winter months. We play outside for recess as long as there is no precipitation and the temperature is above 15 degrees. It is helpful if student names or initials are in each of these items as well since our lost and found tends to get pretty crowded! Cold and flu season seem to follow the cold weather. Please help your students remember how to use good hygiene during this time including coughing into their elbow, washing their hands frequently, blowing their noses, eating healthy, and getting plenty of rest!
We want all of our students to come to school every day and miss them terribly when they are gone. However, please keep your student home if they have a fever until they are fever-free for 24 hours without medication.

Picture Retake Day
Retake Picture Day is 11/14/2024! If you're satisfied with your child's picture, no further action is required.
If you purchased and were unhappy with your Picture Package, please send your Picture Package to school with your student on Retake Day. Your Retake Picture Package will be produced and shipped to the school four weeks after Retake Day. Please note, if your child is photographed on the original and Retake Picture Days, the Retake picture will replace the original picture in certain products, like the yearbook.
Students who were absent for Picture Day should come to school prepared to have their picture taken. If you have not preordered, please use the Retake Order Code 87210QF to place your order at https://inter-state.com/Order. To see your Order History, check your Inter-State Account.

Our 4th graders, along with Mrs. Rich and Mr. Carr, have been preparing for this event and will lead our assembly. If your family has a veteran attending the assembly, please sign in near the office so each veteran can be recognized and receive a gift from us!
