Workshop Description
This workshop is intended for any K-12 teacher who is looking to improve their learning environment for students.
Workshop Overview
At the end of the workshop, you will know:
- The importance of an efficient classroom on teacher evaluations.
- How to implement your classroom management plan.
- How to set-up a classroom so that more time can be spent on instruction.
At the end of the workshop, you will have:
- A classroom management plan
- Plans for handling transitions
- Strategies for organization and efficiency in transitions and set-up
- Suggestions for creating positive interactions with parents and guardians
** A follow-up coaching support is available for those interested. **

Cost: FREE for partner districts of Madison-Champaign ESC; $35.00 for all other participants.

What Should I Bring With Me?
Participants should bring preferred method of note-taking and may want to bring a laptop.
Cancellations received up to five (5) business days prior to the date of the workshop will receive a full refund. Cancellations received after that will not be eligible for a refund.
Individuals who register and are "no show" will also be responsible for the full cost of registration. Billing will be processed accordingly.
In the event of a COVID-19 related conflict, the Madison-Champaign ESC will be following state and local government and health officials' required guidelines. For these events, we will be face-to-face unless guidelines change. If this happens, you will be notified via email and we will move the session to a zoom conference. The change in social distancing guidelines will not mean cancellation of these events.
If you have a COVID-related emergency, please be sure to contact James Cutlip, james.cutlip@mccesc.org, or Heather Burris, heather.burris@mccesc.org, as soon as possible to explain the circumstance surrounding your last-minute cancellation. These instances will be handled on a case-by-case basis to insure equity and to accommodate everyone in this unprecedented time.
** For cancellation purposes only, registration Deadline is 1 week prior to the workshop. The decision to cancel will be made 2 days of the workshop. If the session will be held, registration will remain open until 24 hours prior to the session start time. **
